If you weren't currently teaching, what would you be doing?
If I weren't teaching I would probably have a job in medics or in the industry.
I did some medic and industry related things in graduate school.
What aspect of LOHS are you looking forward to most?
I've heard good things about the community and everyone is caring. Everyone
also has so much respect for eachother and that's great.
What made you decide that you want to work at LOHS?
Well I got married in June so I was looking for a job. I like that it's a
small community instead of large school with thousands of kids because then you
can really get to know people.
What word describes you best and why?
Organized, kinda OCD. I have to make sure everything is planned out for school
like what I'm teaching and even in life. I don't want to be stressed out the
night before something because I don't have plans.
Do you have an unique hobbies?
I'm trying to take up hiking. I like going out for hikes and traveling. If I
ever get a weekend off I like to go different places.
What kind of student were you in high school?
I was very focused and into my AP and honors classes. I participated and I
wasn't the top student but I was into doing well. At the same time I also liked
to go out have fun with friends. I went to Series High School in Ceres which is
Is there anything you want LOHS to know about you?
To my students I don't seem shy, but to the teachers I probably do. I'm more
outgoing with my students than other adults. I can talk to teenagers no problem,
but when it's other adults, it's completely different.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I don't like it when people are not as organized. If someone tries to plan an
event the day before I can't take it. I need like months in advance! I also
dislike people being rude to each other I can't stand it.
