If you weren't currently teaching, what would you be doing?
If I weren't currently teaching, I would be working on some exciting freelance calligraphy projects. I love modern calligraphy, and have created signs for weddings, designed logos, and created invitations. I might also be kayaking in the ocean or on a beautiful lake somewhere.

What aspect of LOHS are you looking forward to most?
I am looking forward to getting to know all the students and staff. Live Oak already seems like a big family, and I am excited about getting to be a part of the community.

What made you decide that you want to work at LOHS?
I like the tight-knit community. The students and staff truly seem to care about the people around them.

What word describes you best and why?
Dedicated - I am dedicated to teaching, learning, and the people around me.

Do you have any unique hobbies?
Modern calligraphy is probably my most unique hobby. It is something that I have been practicing for a few years, and I am still learning new things.

What kind of student were you in high school?
To be honest, I started off high school by avoiding homework and doing as little as possible. By my junior year, however, things changed. My teachers pushed me to be the best student that I could be. I started to really value learning, which I continue to enjoy to this day.

Is there anything you want LOHS to know about you?
Just that I am excited to be here. Go Lions!

What is your biggest pet peeve?
This is a little random, but it bugs me when people clap at the end of a movie at the movie theater.
